How can I import to the system?
You can import your own xlsx/CSV database into MiniCRM.
Only admins can import data into MiniCRM.
The header of the file to be imported should include the MiniCRM fields that will be filled out with data.
The rule is simple:
- One row is one customer
- One column is one data of the customer
Use the following sample to prepare the file: Import sample
If you are importing company data, you have to enter the company’s name. If you are importing a person’s data, you have to enter the person’s name.
Import steps
- Click on Sales on the blue navigation bar.
- Click on the downwards pointing arrow next to the New opportunity button and select the Import option.
- Click on the button and select the file.
- If there is no data in your system yet, you don’t have to change the default setting of the Identified action field.
- If there is data in your system, it is recommended to select the Update available Opportunity option to avoid duplications.
- If you have a built, active database, you can leave the Activate email addresses field checked, otherwise, you have to uncheck it.
- Read and accept our Spam policy.
- After clicking on Next, you can check the fields that were identified by MiniCRM based on the header of the file.
- If every row has a white background, every column has been identified. Compare the field names in the middle column with the header name in the left column and check whether the pairings are correct or not.
- If they are correct, click Next and the system runs a test to check which data can be imported. The results are displayed on the next page.
- If everything is all right, click on Next and the data will be imported to the system. By clicking on the imported customers, you can check it.
