How can I personalize my emails?

What is a variable?

It is sure that you have already received an email in which you saw the following: Dear Customer/Recipient etc..

Variables are meant to avoid sending impersonal emails such as the previous one. By using variables, you can use data stored on opportunity cards in your emails.

Click on the változó icon to insert variables to the template. A variable can be used several times, do not save them up for later. 🙂

What can I use them for?

  • You can address your recipients in a more personalized way: Recipient: First name.
  • If you record the exact date of the next call in a date field on the opportunity card, you can send call reminder emails.
  • If you are using the MiniCRM Invoice terméke, you can make the management of the receivables more easier by inserting the most important data of the invoice as a variable.
  • If you are sending reminders to yourself or to one of your colleagues when there is a task in the system, you can insert the Opportunity: Internal url. By inserting it, the relevant opportunity card can be opened with one click from the email.
  • To customize the unsubscribe link in your newsletters, insert the Other: Unsubscribe link variable to your template and write a unique text.
  • In case of newsletter subscription, insert the Other: Email activation link variable to confirm email addresses.
  • Insert the Sender: Email signature variable to every email to save the time that would be spent on typing your signature every time.

Pay attention to the following when using the Email signature variable:

  • If a custom signature is set in the terméke settings and a custom signature is set in a user’s profile, the real sender’s signature will be displayed by inserting the variable.
  • If a custom signature is set in the terméke settings, but there is no custom signature set in users’ profile, the custom signature that is set in the terméke will be displayed by inserting the variable.
  • If a custom signature is set in a user’s profile, but there is no custom signature set in the terméke, the user’s custom signature will be displayed by inserting the variable (irrespective of the fact that the terméke’s default sender is the sender of the email or not).
Don’t worry if you see something like this after inserting a variable: {%Recipient.FirstName%}
Before sending the template, it will be replaced by the correct value.
Please do not delete anything from the variable or add anything to it, but feel free to format it.
