How to insert links to a template
Click on the icon to insert a link to a template.
When inserting a link, you have 3 further options:
- Identify card: Check this option if the lead/customer is directed to a landing page on which there is a MiniCRM web form via you would like to collect additional data from them or modify existing data. By doing this, they do not have to enter their name and email address again, only the data you would like to collect. Choose this option if card data is added to the web form.
- Identify contact: Check this option if the lead/customer is directed to a landing page on which there is a MiniCRM web form via you would like to collect additional data from them or modify existing data. By doing this, they do not have to enter their name and email address again, only the data you would like to collect. Choose this option if person data is added to the web form.
- Click-through tracking: You only have to check this, if there is a link in the template on which you do not want to measure click-throughs. In this case, you have to uncheck the Click-through tracking option on the right side as well because it applies to every link. After unchecking it, check the click-through tracking option on those links where you would like to measure the click-throughs.
If the template is sent as a mass email or by a follow-up sequence, you can measure how many recipients have clicked on the link. You can check the results in the reports and you can even filter it. You can build campaigns based on this, for example, those recipients who have clicked on the link in Template A, should receive template B as well.
