Merge duplicate companies and persons

By using this function, you can merge Contact persons and Companies but not cards. If the companies or contact persons, that will be merged, have cards, they will be listed as related cards.

  1. In the top right-hand corner, click the settings icon.
  2. Click on DeDupe on the blue navigation bar.
  3. After that, the system searches for duplicate contacts, displays their number and lists 10 of them.
  4. You can also search for a company/private individual by using the Search field.
  5. You can see duplicate data in the middle.
  6. On the left and on the right sides, you can see the companies or contact persons.
    1. If you suppose that it is a duplication, choose the Merge option.
    2. If you are not sure, choose the Skip now option.
    3. If it is not a duplication for sure (there can be more than one John Smith in the country), choose the Skip forever option.
  7. After checking the list and choosing the right options, click on the dedup button.
  8. If the dedup is ready, you will get a new list if there are more duplications in the system.
  9. You can check which companies or contact persons have been merged by creating a filter. Add the Company: Merge date or Person: Merge date filter conditions.
