What do error messages mean?
As the third step of the import, MiniCRM runs a test to explore the errors that may occurred during the import. The errors and the relevant rows are listed.
To find a row in the spreadsheet, you have to add 1 to the number that you see on the list. For example, if you see that an error has occurred in the 3rd row, you shall check the error in the 4th row of the spreadsheet.
Most common error messages:
„Invalid choosable value…”
It contains such data that is not added to MiniCRM yet. Only Dropdown lists and checkbox fields may be affected.
„Company name or Contact1 name not found in this line”
If you would like to import company or person data, you have to add a name as well. If you import more than one contact person, make sure you assigned a name to Person1, Person2, Person3 as well.
„Invalid email format”
Rows containing invalid email formats won’t be processed during import. For example, you cannot import such email addresses as example@example. MiniCRM is able to discover some errors in the email address, for example, it is able to spot the typo in example@gmal.com.
„Email already exists”
If you choose the Error message if Opportunity exists option in the Identified action field, the system lists those rows that contain an email address that is already added to the system. By choosing this option, you can avoid duplications.
